Josanti has seven years of e-Immigration implementation experience ranging from project management including acting as the Local Project Directorate liaising between the foreign contractor and local client through Operations Management for the Managed Services. Other immigration project experiences include technical supervision, systems and equipment installation, equipment and software testing, documentation of business requirements at source, management of requirements validation workshops, training of over 600 Immigration Officers, installation of ten-lane eGates for both pre-delivery inspection on our office premises, and the final installation at the Kotoka International Airport (K. I. A.), Terminal 2.

We have developed our own software, Josanti Identity Verification and Alert System (JIVAS), that in its current state, can be used for the management of visitors in ordinary, sensitive, or national security situations anywhere in the world. JIVAS can read all ICAO compliant documents extracting RFID, MRZ, and OCR Data on identity documents including world passports and then within milliseconds report on their authenticity or otherwise. JIVAS comes with a comprehensive search module that reveals multiple data associations with respect to the subject of interest.

Security Agency Restructuring

Under a World Bank project, Josanti worked with the Immigration Services of a country to completely restructure its operations including clawing back immigration functions that were being executed by other Agencies. The resulting organizational structure provided career enhancement for Officers, and made the service more responsive to modern challenges in migration management.

Border Management including e-Gate Installation and Maintenance

On the e-Immigration project for the Immigration Services of a country, Josanti was a key subcontractor to a European business partner. Project components entailed integration with external parties and systems including Interpol, Consulates, APIS, Payment systems, as well as advanced technologies for Visa Management (Visa Web Portal), AFIS, Enterprise Database Storage, Mobile Stations, Passport Readers, and Disaster Recovery Site. In addition, we reviewed the entire set of Immigration processes and organized series of requirement validation workshops on System Requirements Specifications and obtained customer sign-off. We installed all the eGates on our office premises for the pre-delivery inspection and initial customer orientation then moved the equipment to the International Airport for the final installation through coordination with the Immigration Service and the Airport Company.

Immigration Operations Management

After focusing on training through deployment, our role transitioned into Operation Management entailing the administration of support and maintenance practices and coordinating the activities of all Specialists and Engineering Teams. Our Support and Maintenance focus included Application Support, Help Desk and Hot Line, Supply Chain and Spare Parts Management, Facilities (Data Center and all Sites - CCTV, Access Control), Database Administration. We supervised the work of the Immigration Specialist, System and Information Security specialist and the Senior Application Integration specialist. The Engineering Team that we supervised had included, Operations Control Engineer, Application Support Engineer, Network Engineer, System Administrator, Facilities Engineer - Data Center and Electrical (lighting, Cooling, Genset, UPS, Voltage Regulation, etc.) for all sites. Josanti managed the inventory records for the entire set of equipment and software licenses imported into the country in support of the e-Immigration project. We procured, transported to site, and installed containerized offices to two sea border posts and three land border posts across the country.

Biometric Enrollment Solutions

In partnership with Idemia, Josanti has also done extensive solution discussions and demonstrations with respect to Biometric Voter Registration.

In its native form Josanti Identity Verification and Alert System (JIVAS), is your authoritative identity document authenticity verification and identity card holder identification.

The next release of JIVAS is integrated identity document authenticity verification, biometric enrollment and verification, and secure identity document printing.
